Melissa Newman has always had a passion for animals. She graduated from Durham College in 2012 to become a Veterinary Assistant and also graduated from Ridgetown College in 2013 to become a Veterinary Medical Office Administrator. From small animals to large animals she gained some experience by volunteering at vet co-ops, farms and pet supply stores. She also worked at Matthews Animal Clinic and Northdale Animal Hospital (both in London).
In 2012 Melissa got a job at Pet Valu, working the store and helping the groomer bath dogs. She decided to go to Pets Beautiful School of styling in London and after she graduated she became their full time groomer in 2015. She absolutely loves grooming, making dogs and cats look so beautiful, no matter the situation.

Melissa’s household consists of her amazing husband Josh and is a new Mom to her son Kilian. She just moved into her dream home in the country and looks forward to have a companion pet join their family soon.
